Southern Spinach and Artichoke Dip
8 oz. cream cheese (room temperature)
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tsp. Tabasco (pepper sauce)
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese (divided in half)
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
14 oz. can artichoke hearts drained and chopped
1/2 cup frozen chopped spinach thawed and drained very well
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or pepper jack)
Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees.
Mix together all ingredients except 1/4 cup mozzarella and 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese together until well mixed.
Pour into an oven safe casserole dish
Top with mozzarella cheese and bake for 15-20 minutes.
Top with Parmesan cheese and serve with toast or crackers
